Dalmard Marine rewarded for its wool coat recycling program

Dalmard Marine is proud to have been awarded the Grand Prix Responsable at the Stars & Métiers trophy in Vannes in October 2023.

This national award is organized by Banque Populaire Grand Ouest and the Chambre de métiers et de l'artisanat de Bretagne to encourage excellence, boldness and innovation, and to spotlight passionate business leaders. Our century-old company was rewarded for its national program to transform and recycle woollen coats (caban, duffle coat...). Dalmard Marine designs and manufactures unique pieces steeped in history. The company creates jobs and has a social mission, working in partnership with a number of social integration workshops in western France.

In November 2023, Dalmard Marine was honored at Sciences Po Paris as a laureate by the Réussir avec un Marketing Responsable platform for its "Recycling and upcycling wool coats (caban, duffle coat...)" program.

For the past 10 years, the "Réussir avec un Marketing Responsable" platform has been showcasing the best practices of companies that combine responsible supply with the creation of economic value. It was created on the initiative of Elizabeth Pastore-Reiss and David Garbous (Transformation Positive), with the support of ADEME. Each year, the committee rewards brands that manage to combine sustainability and profitability. The collective is convinced that this is a significant lever for keeping up with the ecological transition, and that together we can achieve this in a positive way. We're delighted to make our own contribution to this initiative, which you can find in the "circular economy" category on the Réussir avec un Marketing Responsable platform.
