Dartmouth, St. Helier and Paimpol
The Classic Chanel Regatta is organized in three Channel ports: Dartmouth, St Helier and Paimpol, the home port of Dalmard Marine in Brittany.
After the arrival of the boats in the port of Paimpol on July 3rd in the evening, the Tour de l'Île de Bréhat Race will be organized on July 5th. In the early evening, the crews will participate in the very popular "Paimpol Classics Dance" before a sailing parade of the fleet back to the port. Saturday, July 6 afternoon will be held the big awards ceremony and dinner crews.
A unique and unforgettable event
Because of its origins and history, Dalmard Marine has always been committed to maritime heritage. The specificity of the Classic Channel Regatta is to bring together more than 100 boats built in pre-1975 designs.
This event is open to the world, which echoes the international dimension of the textile company. The crews of the regatta come from Great Britain, France, Ireland, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Among the boats present: Le Loup Rouge, cruise-racing sailboat built in 1962.
