The Anglo-French regatta started with a two-day competition in Dartmouth (England), followed by the Classic Channel Race in two stages: the first from Dartmouth to St. Peter Port in Guernsey, and the second from St. Peter Port in Guernsey to Paimpol.
In Brittany, the race took place around Bréhat island.
After their Grand Parade, the boats sailed back into Paimpol harbour to celebrate Bastille Day. At that point, the crew of the Lady Akka, the French vessel launched in 1982, was awarded the 'Danse des Classiques' prize.
